Margaret Goringe - Biography
I am honoured to have been selected as the Conservative candidate for the forthcoming By-election in St Leonards & St Ives, the place that I proudly call home.
This election has been caused due to the passing of my beloved husband Barry. I have been touched by the kindness shown to me since Barry died. I am immensely proud of the work that Barry did for our community as a Councillor. I am determined to continue working to protect the character of our area and improve our local services.
I have been working alongside Barry for many years on behalf of our area. I have supported his work and seen firsthand the devotion to service that is required to be a good representative. Serving our community is one of the many things that united us. I am a former Parish Councillor and I currently Chair our Village Hall committee.
This area is my home and I will fight hard to protect it.
