Abolishing Business Rates
We know that our high streets matter and that small businesses in particular are being crushed by an excessive tax burden. That’s why we will abolish business rates entirely for 1000s of high street businesses including pubs, shops, restaurants, cafes, post-offices, pharmacies, and hairdressers.
We will also cut business rates for over 200,000 more businesses. We will achieve this by creating 100% relief for Retail, Hospitality, and Leisure businesses worth up to £110,000.
